These matcha bowls are hand thrown using a blend of stoneware and mixed terracotta.
The two clays are stacked together before they are blended in the throwing process. The final pattern is unique to each item and captures the movement on the wheel.
These are then reduction fired in a gas kiln for 10 hours, bringing out unique properties in the clay, showing off the speckles and giving the transparent glaze a green-y blue-y colour.
Dimensions are roughly 14 cm(W) x 10cm(W).
Care: Dishwasher safe, but handwash is recommended for longevity.
Due to their handmade nature, there will be a slight variation amongst each item in colour and size.
